After their marriage, the youngest daughter truly loved her tiny snail husband and took great care of him. One day, while they were visiting a shrine, the snail’s shell broke when the youngest daughter briefly looked away. From within the shell emerged a breathtakingly handsome young man. The gods had granted the snail a human form to reward the couple’s deep love and the youngest daughter’s pure, unprejudiced heart.
